Jesus Christ Is All in AllNäide

Jesus Christ was always there
“And He is before all things” (Colossians 1:17)
The Lord Jesus was with God before anything was created. He was with God because He Himself is God (together with the Father and the Holy Spirit). In John 17:5 Jesus mentions the glory He had with the Father before the world was there.
This subject has been much debated in history. Some people think that Jesus was created first by the Father, and then all other things were created. So then He is very important, but less important than God the Father. Less divine. Not eternal.
I don't believe this view is correct. In Isaiah 44:6 God says, “I am the first and I am the last; besides Me there is no god.” In Revelation 22:13, Jesus says of Himself, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” There is no difference between the Father and the Son in this regard. Both are eternal. They were always there.
Do you understand why people are concerned with the question of whether Jesus Christ was always there, or whether He was created by the Father? Why is that relevant, do you think?
