JonahNäide

Each character, Jesus and Jonah, are given the opportunity to save many. Jonah being cast out of the boat into the wild and raging sea is actually foreshadowing how Jesus would cast himself into the chaos of humanity and into the mouth of the grave itself sharing the same 3 days before resurrecting. Each accomplishing the purpose God the Father had sent them each to do and proclaiming the freedom found in repentance whilst turning to God and God’s rich love for those even far away.

About this Plan

Jonah is a somewhat unique book because rather than focusing on Jonah's message, it focuses on his own story. In an age where many are deconstructing or questioning their faith because of perceiving God to be too strict, harsh, or un-loving (especially in the Old Testament), Jonah’s story stands as an example of God’s great love for humanity and redemptive purpose for the salvation of the whole world.
