What Is Relational Discipleship? Living the 7 Discipleship EmphasesNäide

Focus
Focus on breathing slowly in and out, counting to three between each inhale and exhale. After a few breaths, repeat the following phrase silently as a prayer: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me. God has anointed me for a great Purpose.
Apply
The Holy Spirit gives each of us gifts to be used for the good of God’s Kingdom. We are meant to use these gifts in our daily lives and Callings, as well as for transforming the world in Christ’s Love. Think about your daily life, your unique gifts, and the desires of your heart. Where could you use them today for God’s Glory?
Respond
Holy Spirit, come in Your Power. Show me where You want me to serve and give me the courage to go where You lead. Let me be a witness to God’s Goodness and Glory. Amen.

About this Plan

At its core, discipleship is relational, accompanying others as we follow Jesus together. Yet recent trends show that the Church has not accompanied youth in this way, with more than 1 million walking away from the Church each year. This 7-day devotional launches you toward discipleship that is radically focused on Jesus so everyone can experience the abundant life Jesus offers.
