PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father God, thank You for giving us Your Word to guide us in every circumstance. Even when the road gets windy, Your Word instructs us, helping us to properly navigate the path You have placed us on.
As we consider what it means to follow Your ways, we are reminded of James’ words that we should not merely listen to the Word and deceive ourselves. Instead, we are to do what it says (James 1:22). While we all strive for this, we readily confess that sometimes we tend to be hearers of the Word and fail to put it into action. Please forgive us for those times, and empower us by Your Spirit to follow the instructions You have given us so that we might stay the course on the narrow road.

Have I sought accountability or support from a fellow believer to help me stay on course, following God’s Word?
