VERSE OF THE DAY:
Peter declared, “Even if all fall away, I will not.”
- Mark 14:29
REFLECTION:
- Peter promised to be true no matter what.
- But he ALSO betrayed Jesus.
- Boasting isn’t helpful. Humility is.
- Peter and Judas both betrayed Jesus.
- Judas showed REMORSE.
- Peter showed REPENTANCE.
- Jesus restores those who come back to Him.
JOURNAL POINTS:
When did boasting get you in trouble? Jesus is not impressed with our WORDS.
Is there anything in your life that you need to seek repentance for?

About this Plan

The Gospel of Mark is considered by some to be the most important of the “synoptic” gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), mainly because it was the earliest written. With brevity and urgency, John Mark describes the birth, life, work and teachings of Jesus Christ. Highlighted with action and vivid storytelling, this Gospel underscores the transformative power of faith and encourages us to remain steadfast in our commitment to Christ.
