Immeasurably more. What a beautiful—but unusual—phrase. Even just hearing someone say the word immeasurably can begin to spark our imagination of what is possible. When it comes to a life spent with Jesus, He is willing and able to do more for us than we could ever imagine. There is no limit to what God will do for His children. There is no place too far where He could not find us. There is nothing we could ask for that would be beyond His power. We are well and truly loved by a God who can and will always go above and beyond our wildest dreams. But sometimes we can place our limits on God.
We think our problems are too big, too complicated, or maybe even not worth God’s time. We limit our asks so we don’t cause a scene or make waves. We don’t ask because we don’t think we’re worth an answer. But God always promises to do more. His answer may look different than what we may have wanted, but it will always be an answer that draws us closer to Him. Are there places in your life where you would want God to do immeasurably more? And even more important than knowing those places—have you ever asked?
