What Jesus Said About Spiritual WarfareNäide

Your authority in Christ Jesus
Read Ephesians 1:19 – 2:7
This is one of the most remarkable passages in the New Testament. Please study this with much care.
Answer the following questions:
Ephesians 1:19-20 - Who raised Jesus from the dead? How is this power described?
Ephesians 1:20 – Where is Jesus seated right now?
Ephesians 1:20-23 – Write down five things that describe Jesus’ current position.
Ephesians 2:1-3 – This passage draws a parallel between the death of Jesus and our spiritual death. Except that Jesus had no sin.
Ephesians 2:4-6 – How did our situation of spiritual death change?
Ephesians 2:6 – What is our spiritual position now? How does this correlate with the actual spiritual position of Jesus as described in Eph.1:20-23?
You have to ask the Holy Spirit to give you insight. Our spiritual position in Eph.2:6 can be described as a spiritual position of authority. Remember, we have this position as long as we are in Jesus.
This is a position in Christ – you do not have to work for it. It is given to you. You need it for your battle against the forces of darkness.
