What the New Testament Says About Who I AmNäide

Who Am I? Always Changing
OUR EMOTIONS SWING US back and forth; our passions toss us around like waves on a daily basis; our desires lurch us forward and backward . . . and all of that is just inside of us! Now consider the changes that are happening in the world. If you stay in the same city long enough, you will see neighborhoods change, people come and go, and fads constantly pass us by. We as humans clearly need stability! The Good News is God created us to be guided by a relationship with Him. We are created to be dependent on the unchanging, anchor-like Creator, who can guide us through all the changes we go through. James wrote that those who believe in Jesus are God’s “prized possession” (James 1:18). God wants to be our anchor and guide. And let’s face it—we need Him!
