Remembering God’s Guidance
Something that sets Christianity apart from other faiths is that we have a God who is interested in our daily lives and wants to be in a relationship with us. He’s deeply invested in our journey and desires to guide us if we seek His counsel. While He’s given us the gift of choice, if we ask for His wisdom, He is more than willing to engage with us by specifically leading with clarity and confidence.
What an honor and a privilege – the God who flung the stars into place is interested in helping me make up my mind about a simple work decision!
How often do you seek God’s counsel and guidance? Do you turn to Him frequently for advice, or are you someone who only leans on Him in dire and pressing situations? Either way, His direction is invaluable, and His sweet counsel is the best!
Take a few minutes to thank God for His Wisdom. Also, call to mind situations where you could use His assistance. Pray and wait on Him – listen to His voice in silence.
Journaling Prompt:
Create a visual representation of God's guidance. Use symbols and colors that convey the sense of direction and purpose found in following His lead.
