A 10 Day Journey Praying the ScripturesNäide

Lord, I know you call me to be kind and compassionate, forgiving others just as you forgave me. That is sometimes hard. Help me let go of all bitterness, rage, and anger, and give me the desire to love my enemies and forgive those who hurt me - as many as seventy times.

Today, I choose to remember that my battles are not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil. Those who hurt me know not what they do, so even though it is difficult right now, I pray that you bless them.

Heal my heart and give me compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience. I love you and thank you.
