What Jesus Said About the WordNäide

Meditate on the Word
First, silence your heart for a few minutes and ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you through this passage. Ask Him to show you what He wants to reveal to you.
And ask the question: What do I learn about God in these verses - His character, being, and works?
Joshua 1:1-9 – Read the passage twice.
Reread verses 8-9: This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will achieve success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified nor dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.
1. What is the role of verses 8-9 in this passage? What will help Joshua to be strong and courageous?
2. In which areas of your life do you need to apply this principle?
3. Is there anyone with whom you can share and discuss this truth?
