You've likely heard the Creation story before. But have you stopped to think about what we learn about God in this short passage? We see God as the Creator. There is power in that. There is wisdom in that. There is love in that. God, existing perfectly within himself, chose to pour out his love by creating everything.

We'll spend eternity trying to work out all the reasons why, but at the least, we can take deep comfort and awe in the reality that you weren't inevitable or accidental: you were carefully and intentionally crafted by a careful and intentionally loving God.
