PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father God, thank You for Your son Jesus, who came not to be served but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many (Mark 10:45). Although He was Your son, He learned obedience through what He suffered. And being made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him (Hebrews 5:8-9).
Thank You, Lord, for the humility of Christ, who, though being in the form of You, His Father, did not consider equality with You something to be used to His own advantage; instead, He made Himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
Please help us be living models of Your Son by serving others with humility and considering others more significant than ourselves. May our lives radiate with Your light until we pass from this life into eternity.
