PRAYER FOR TODAY
Lord God, Your way is perfect; Your Word proves true; You are a shield for all who take refuge in You (2 Samuel 22:31). Thank You for Your incredible patience with us and the grace we don’t deserve.
While we were still sinners, You sent Your one and only Son, who lived a perfect life and died for our sins. Because of Him, the Holy Spirit now dwells in us and intercedes on our behalf with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26b). Please enlighten our eyes today that we might seek Your glory in all things.
ONE QUESTION
Am I actively seeking to align my life with God’s perfect way and allowing His Word to guide my decisions and actions?
ABOUT THIS PHOTO
- The Eastern Veil Nebula (NGC 6992) is a cloud of heated and ionized dust located in the Cygnus Constellation.
To capture this image, I used the FSQ-106 530mm f/5 telescope, the Paramount MyT (to follow the earth's rotation), and the QSI 683wsg-8 (8300) camera. To render all the data, I photo-stacked 65 x 1,800 second exposures together for a total of 32.5 hours of data. If You’re wondering what the colors are, blue is oxygen, yellow/green is hydrogen and orange/red is sulfur.
