It's PersonalNäide

Sometimes our pace of life can feel out of control, or our days can feel like they all blend into one another like we are living on a treadmill just trying to not get thrown off! Life can feel a lot like something we survive and not something more. We may be living life, but not experiencing life the way it was meant to be.
These words from Jesus tell us where life can be found. It isn’t in keeping up with culture, with our neighbors, or with social media influencers. It isn’t in going after the next job promotion or newest car model. Life is found in Jesus himself.
But what does that mean? Jesus’s life is a model for what it means to find real-life—substantial and meaningful life. Jesus lived as a servant, he died to Himself figuratively and literally. He laid down his rights for the sake of others. He risked his reputation for the good of others. He saw everyone as worthy of love, acceptance, and capable of change. That’s where life is found. The good life, a real life. If we want to connect with a more meaningful life and connect with God, we model our lives after the life of Jesus because he is the life.

About this Plan

Everyone is different, yet we all share a common quality. Deep down, we were created to be deeply known by others and by God. We were made to experience relationships with others and a relationship with God that’s personal. Because when it’s personal, it changes things. Things matter more. People matter more. Over the next few weeks, we will discover a personal God and what that means for us.
