Pause: A Month of Joy in Five Minutes a DayNäide

Proclaim
“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.” (Phil. 4:4-5)
Prompt
When’s the last time you took joy in something God gave you? It could be something as small as your next breath or something as big as a relationship you treasure. When’s the last time you have LOOKED at a situation and seen the victory God was giving you as a gift of JOY?
These are the kinds of things that, miraculous though they are, can become commonplace in our lives just through the sheer fact that they are part of our lives for so long.
But when we stop, and we reflect on them, and we take joy in them—then they come alive once more and become in our minds and hearts the gifts that they always were.
Take joy!
Prod
Find five things throughout the day that you would ordinarily overlook and determine to take joy in them.
Praise
Listen to “See The Victory” by Elevation Worship
Pray
Jesus, let me look at this world through your joy-filled eyes and see you wherever you are. Help me to see the victory you have placed in my hands. Amen.
