Daily Bible Reading – November 2023, God’s Saving Word: Praise and ThanksgivingNäide

November 19
Introduction
Psalm 128: Today’s reading is in the form of a blessing that priests bestowed on pilgrims when they attended one of the major festivals in Jerusalem. The psalm concludes with a blessing upon Jerusalem.
Today’s Key Verse: Psalm 128:1
Happy are those who obey the LORD, who live by his commands.
Reflect
What blessings are cited in this psalm? Reread verse 1. In what ways do you seek to obey the LORD and live by his commands? In what ways have you experienced God’s blessings?
Pray
Loving God, help me to obey you and live by your commands. I think and praise you for your many blessings. Guide me this day so that all I do and say honors you and glorifies your holy name. Amen.
Tomorrow’s Reading
Psalm 134: A call to praise God.
Pühakiri
