When we look at the beauty of God’s creation, it’s pretty easy to be amazed at all there is in the world. Some of us are surrounded by mountains so tall they could take months to climb, rushing rivers with powerful currents, or landscapes so beautiful they take our breath away. Beyond just what we see, we get to live in a world full of amazing creatures with skills we may find surprising, like the intelligence of a crow, the strength of a gorilla, and of course, the smiling face of a quokka. With all the intricate details of creation, it’s easy to picture God looking down on Earth to watch over every plant, animal, and natural wonder with pride. And while that’s certainly true, God’s main focus in all that He’s made is you.

You are His best creation. He sees you as invaluable! Because of that, you can trust that as you live your real life with Him, you are cared for more than any part of creation.

Anytime you feel like you just don’t measure up, or aren’t valued, or maybe even have been forgotten, go take a quick walk. Look at all creation around you and remind yourself that God sees you as more valuable than anything else on Earth.
