Finding Hope After Pregnancy or Infant LossNäide

IT’S NOT YOUR FAULT.
Your loss is not your fault. You did not cause this or make this happen. God alone is the giver of life.
God is not punishing you. He is compassionate towards you and loves you with a perfect and everlasting love (verse 17). God does not deal with you according to your “iniquities” (disobedience, wrongdoing, sin) when you are a believer in Jesus because Jesus’ righteousness (His goodness and perfection) is now yours. You are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17) in Him.
PRAYER
Thank you Jesus for making me new. Thank you for being a compassionate Father who loves me perfectly and does not deal with me based on anything I have done or will ever do. Lord protect my heart from believing lies that I caused this loss. Instead, help me instead to see you, to trust you as my God who is in control, my God who is mighty and powerful but compassionate and kind. Help me to see you as a gentle Father who loves her daughter.
