The Tide-Turning Power of HopeNäide

I looked at some of the other personalities in Scripture who endured the most scandalous downfalls and the most devastating crises.
The result was dramatic.
I found that God specialized in hard situations.
God is most active, most at work, most powerful, and most strategic when the odds are stacked against people.
Consider a few examples from Scripture:
- Adam hiding in shame in a garden
- Abraham leaving for a new unknown land
- Moses in a desert for decades
- Gideon leading a woefully outmatched army
- David facing the giant Goliath
- Elijah by a solitary broom tree
- Jonah in a fish Daniel in a den with lions
- And ultimately Jesus on a cross
The biblical stories of how God showed up in hopeless situations are inspiring.
Time and again, I see examples of God at work.
What has built my faith is a simple thought: if God did it for them, He can do it for me.
