Tithes and Tithing: Every Verse in the Bible About TithingNäide

As long as I have been a Christian, I can remember people arguing and debating about tithing.
Some say Tithing was only an Old Testament Law that doesn’t need to be followed by believers under the New Covenant.
And some say that tithing is just as relevant to New Testament Christians as it was in the Old Covenant.
My goal with this plan is to just look at what the Bible says about tithing to get past all the opinions and go directly to the source.
I also will be tapping into the wisdom of others who have studied tithing in the Bible to great depths, and hopefully, we can better see what we, as New Testament Christians need to know about tithing.
So as you go through it, I encourage you to prayerfully examine the scriptures on what the Bible says about it.
For Day 1, we are starting at the beginning by exploring what the first 5 books of the Bible have to say about tithing.
And I’ll leave you with this succinct and powerful quote about tithing from Billy Graham that I believe to be 100% true as well:
“We have found in our own home…that God’s blessing upon the nine-tenths, when we tithe, helps it to go farther than ten-tenths without His blessing.” –Rev. Billy Graham
About this Plan

As long as I have been a Christian, I've heard people arguing and debating about tithing. Some say Tithing was only an Old Testament Law that doesn’t need to be followed as believers under the New Covenant, while some say that tithing is just as relevant to New Testament Christians. In this plan, we will go directly to the source to see everything the Bible says about tithing.
