Ten Massive Leadership QuestionsNäide

On what do I meditate?
Relax, I am not going Eastern mysticism on you with this question. That kind of mediation is about emptying your mind. I am asking, “On what do you meditate”? So, it is about focus. Let’s say this in a different way: what do you focus on, what is occupying your mind? Whatever is at the forefront of your mind will largely determine your disposition, your attitude, and ultimately your emotions and actions. There are many unworthy things to ponder. Unfortunately, negativity and all kinds of depravity are thrust upon you from every direction. The good news is, we have a plethora of positive and empowering things we can meditate on. Things that build us up. Like the Word of God. Like God’s promises. Like God’s character. Like counting your blessings. We can use these to replace the toxic stuff in our minds. Fortunately, it is a choice! And here is some more good news: God’s very own Spirit assists us when meditating on the worthy things. You can count on Him to enlighten your prayerful meditation!
