Year of the Bible: Part Twelve of TwelveNäide

The Book of Life!
As you read today's passage, pay attention! Books are being opened. The great white Throne of Judgment is at hand. To many, this is a throne to be feared. To others, this throne is the final stop before enjoying the eternally secure presence of God.
Books will be opened that will reveal your choice to either receive or reject God's mercy offered through Jesus. Thank God that it's not too late to make the right choice. Today, commit yourself to total loyalty to the Lordship of Jesus. That commitment will assure you that when the Book of Life is opened, your name will be written in it.
Question: What determines your stance before this throne? (Here's the answer: you do.)
Prayer: Father, today I choose, perhaps again, to commit my full loyalty to Jesus. Jesus, thank You for bearing the price for my sin so that I may enjoy eternal life in Your presence.
