Acts: Go & Be Chapters 1-9Näide

What is this passage saying?
The early church was known for their care and generosity for each other. The love of Christ was in them and compelled them to live it out, even selling everything and giving to those who had need. They all are together with one thing on their mind, and that is proclaiming the gospel message to all. The apostles are continuing to share and bear their testimonies to the church in order that they be reminded constantly of the works of Jesus.
What is this passage teaching?
When God gets a hold of your life, everything changes. You are transformed from your selfish ways and begin to see the needs of others around you. You are compelled to help people out of the love that exudes from your heart because of Jesus. Don’t forget to share the amazing works and wonders that Jesus has done in your life. Do all this for the sake of the gospel and the evidence of your salvation will be plain for all to see.
How do I respond?
Be united with other believers and love genuinely the people that God has placed in your life.
