Couples: Kindness ChallengeNäide

Challenge 3
Ephesians 4:32 (ESV): Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
Kindness Illustrated
In this verse, there are three areas we are instructed to live by. First, we’re to be intentional and show kindness to other believers even if it means we must go out of your way. Second, we’re to be compassionate with a tender and soft heart. And third, we’re to emulate Jesus' forgiveness to others just as He has forgiven us.
Action Steps
Husbands:
● Demonstrate out-of-the-way kindness to your wife by doing the laundry this week.
● Be tender hearted to your wife by doing that activity with her she always wants to do with you but you never say yes.
● Experience godly reconciliation by asking your wife and God to forgive you for a hurt you caused her during the last six months.
Wives:
● Demonstrate out-of-the way kindness to your husband by planning a special night for him. Perhaps buy wedding-night lingerie, offer a massage, and let go.
● Be tender hearted to your husband by telling him why and how much you appreciate him. Also, ask him how you could pray for him this week and do it.
● Experience godly reconciliation by asking your husband and God to forgive you for a hurt you caused him during the last six months.
