How to Be Certain That My Life Is a Blessing?Näide

The Spirit that indwells in us has made us spiritually alive to the desires of the Spirit. He yearns for us to feed the Spirit so that we do not gratify the desires of the flesh and in turn, we develop an appetite for what the Spirit wants.
For us to be used by God, we must be made holy. Jesus takes the prerogative responsibility to make His bride holy. How does He do this? By sanctifying her, having cleansed her by the washing of water "with the word…”. There can be no sanctification nor cleansing without washing.
Let us take the imagery of water for the Word of God. Water is meant for nourishment and for washing. Nutritionists tell us to drink water so that our body is hydrated, it detoxes us, dilutes the acidic development, and basically clears out all the gunk in our system.
In the same way, Jesus, the husband of the church, cleanses His bride and prepares His bride by washing her with the Word. He speaks gentle words of encouragement, promise, and assurance daily. For what purpose? So that He might present the Church to Himself in splendor, without "spot or wrinkle or any such that she might be holy.”
He builds us up, He strengthens us with His words of affirmation. He does this so that we may be sanctified; available to be used by God to be a channel of His blessing to others.
