Infinitum Family Advent, Week 1Näide

“Beauty will save the world.”—Fyodor Dostoyevsky
Have you ever been so frustrated that you wanted to do something you found surprising in a bad way? Like yelling or throwing something? Life has some moments in it that are just so awful. Sometimes it’s tempting to develop an attitude of negativity.
But it’s probably ALSO true that you’ve had a time where you were in a bad mood and a friend or sibling did something that made you laugh and you felt it just POOF away your grumpy, black cloud. Those moments are the best.
We can’t stop all the bad things from happening in life, but we CAN bring beauty into the world. Just like Jesus came to the earth and brought love, kindness, openness, and joy, WE can bring beauty into the world. The more we welcome Jesus into our hearts and lives, the more we start to be like Him.
What are some things about you that bring beauty into the world? Are you funny? Kind hearted? Thoughtful? Helpful? Encouraging? Bold? Curious? Energetic? Maybe you’re the one who helps a friend zap away their grumpies!
Like baby Jesus was a Christmas present to the world, bringing beauty with Him, YOU bring beauty to the world.
What part of being you can you make an effort to bring to the world today?
