I Am Rahab: How to Unlock Your True IdentityNäide

Heart Matters
Everyone heard what God did (Joshua 2:9-11), but all did not believe in God. Rahab heard differently and believed in God. Her heart was a good ground (Luke 8:4-15; Hebrews 4:2). Hebrews 4:2 (AMP) says, “For indeed we have had the good news [of salvation] preached to us, just as the Israelites also [when the good news of the promised land came to them]; but the message they heard did not benefit them, because it was not united with faith [in God] by those who heard.”
We will not manifest our true identity until our hearts become fertile grounds for God’s Word. We need a believing heart with a genuine desire to know God like Rahab. We need a heart fully surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Without it, we cannot manifest our true identity. We need a heart that craves more than KNOWING ABOUT God—a heart that wants to KNOW God (Exodus 33:13).
Today, let’s ask God to work on our hearts.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, let your word mix with faith in my heart. Make my heart fertile ground for your Word. Give me a heart of flesh and deliver my heart from unbelief in the name of Jesus. I yield myself to you.
I encourage you to continue praying in the Spirit.
