No ProblemNäide

You. Are. Not. Alone.
This term can seem overused, but it's true. Maybe this week, life is throwing you a major curve ball. You may not even be sure if anyone else will understand the intensity of your pain. Thankfully, there is a God who understands, cares, and will do something about our problems when we reach out. Sometimes, our thoughts make us feel like we don't "deserve" to pause and embrace how we feel, but that's not true.
Today's passage says God cares about our feelings and encourages us to trust in that compassion. A compassion that does not check to see if we deserve it before caring for us. God is someone we can confide in wholeheartedly without being judged. Next time you feel hurt or overwhelmed, reach out to God and explain how you feel.
Spend time today reflecting on where you may need comfort. How do you think God could be caring for you in this time?

About this Plan

Apologies — they’re hard to give, but they’re sometimes hard to receive, too. When you’re the one who has hurt someone else, saying you’re sorry (and actually meaning it) takes work and practice. But when you’re the one who’s been hurt by someone else, things get even more complicated. In this 20-day devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll unpack apologies and forgiveness.
