Be Still: 15 Days With God Näide

FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD
The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” ZEPHANIAH 3:17
There are times we all feel lonely! This is normal, but sometimes depression can set in. What a promise to know that God is in our midst! He said He would always be there, even to the end of his age. And what comfort to know, though lonely, you are not alone.
He, the Mighty One, will save. He is an ever-present help in time of need. That He is there to deliver you, lift your countenance up, and rejoice over you, should give you much encouragement.
Do you see this beautiful picture of being quieted in His love? Has He not answered so many of our noted insecurities? He rejoices over us so that an exuberant song rises up as He rejoices over us with singing.

About this Plan

"Be still, and know that I am God;" (PSALM 46:10a). Many Christians are familiar with this verse, but do we really understand it? This exhortation applies when we are distracted by our successes, as when we are fearful and disquieted by some troublesome news. We need to learn to quiet ourselves by opening God’s Word and gaining His perspective in both cases.
