How will people know we are Christ-followers? By how we love others and serve them. Throughout His life, Christ showed us how we should love and serve others. Jesus used parables to teach us how to serve one another, he showed us by washing his disciples’ feet, and He even died on a cross for all. When we experience the love of God, it truly transforms us from the inside out. Because we have experienced the love of God, it’s only natural that we want to show that love to others and serve others the way Christ wants us to. There is no greater way to start that than in community. Through community, we can love and serve others and be the light.
