Faithful In The Little ThingsNäide

The Great Ones Serve.
“But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.” Matthew 23:11 KJV
Serve in the little things. Serve on small stages. Serve in the background. Serve when no one is watching. Serve in all things. The Message Bible puts it this way, “Do you want to stand out? Then step down. Be a servant.” Matthew 23:11 MSG. Choose to serve.
Matthew 20:27 KJV declares, “And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:” Choose to serve. Choose not to be haughty and puffed up—humble yourself and serve God. Humble yourself and serve others. 1 Peter 5:6 KJV declares, “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:”
The promotion comes from the Lord. Exaltation comes from God. The expansion comes from Christ. The increase comes from Him. “For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.” Psalm 75:6 KJV.
