10 Ways to Beat Porn Näide

Another thing to do when dealing with pornography is to avoid emotional triggers of isolation, loneliness, stress, and boredom.
Many times, pornography is the medication to attempt curing emotional states of isolation and loneliness, or even boredom.
You cannot overcome lust if you do not replace it with an emotional state that makes lust unnecessary.
Paul says, “...pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace." The moment you replace negative emotional triggers with joy and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, pornography will not have a hold on your life.
David is an example of falling into sin out of boredom. He was supposed to be with his army in a battle; instead, he stayed behind and lost the battle with his eyes. He saw a beautiful woman bathing which led to sexually immoral behavior.
I’m not saying we will never find ourselves in these negative emotional states, but if you are constantly experiencing isolation, loneliness, stress, or boredom, it will be nearly impossible to overcome pornography.
Today’s Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help me pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace in order to replace and prevail over any emotions of isolation or boredom.
