John 1-3: A 12-Day Reading Plan Näide

In our quest to live lives that exalt Jesus above all, these words should encourage us:
“For he whom God has sent utters the words of God, for he gives the Spirit without measure”. JOHN 3:34
God doesn’t give the Spirit in partial measure but in immeasurable dimensions. This is beautiful news for those of us who feel stagnant, confused, trapped in cycles of addiction, or in broken ways of thinking. We don’t have to be stuck within the boundaries of our broken limitations—we get the Spirit without measure.
The Spirit empowers us to live spiritually vibrant lives that bring glory to God and do things we could never accomplish in our own strength. When we rely on the Holy Spirit to strengthen and empower us we have the ability to obey God, fulfill our callings, and live a life we could never bring to pass in our own effort. Let’s remain mindful that the starting point in the Christian life is believing that Jesus is the
Son of God—but it doesn’t stop there. The Christian life is a life of believing—and having life in His name.
In what specific areas do you need to rely on the Holy Spirit’s power to enable you to do what you can’t do in your own strength?
