Through the Bible: ProverbsNäide

What Are You Seeking After?
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom…
Proverbs 9:10 (ESV)
As we read through these chapters, we find the importance of knowing what we need to seek after in order to be able to go through this life’s journey, in a manner that God wanted us to.
Many times we know our goals and objectives, but are simply misguided into making the wrong choices on how to get to those end state objectives.
The Bible clearly speaks about how Wisdom is key – as without Wisdom, we will rely on our own human understanding, which is fallible and will lead us towards destruction.
The importance of Wisdom can never be overstated, but it isn’t difficult to find either. It simply needs us to be intentional about it (8:10), to fear the Lord (9:10) and to be humble (11:2), which will lead to life eternal (10:27).
What is it that you are seeking after in order to help you move towards the purpose God created you for?
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, help me to be intentional in seeking Wisdom by fearing You and live my life, pleasing to You. In Jesus name, Amen.
