Refined Under PressureNäide

Day 11: Unconventional Warfare
Pray
Lord God, quiet my soul and open my mind and heart to receive Your Word. Amen.
Read
1 Samuel 17:1-58
Reflect
David was a shepherd boy, not a warrior. How was David able to muster the courage to face a man in combat whom the entire army of Israel feared? By whose power and authority did David challenge Goliath? David achieves a miraculous victory for Israel without even bringing a sword to the fight. How am I trusting God to help me through the battles I face today?
Respond
When I think that I am weak, I am really strong because I completely rely on you. Help me to stop struggling on my own, but to trust you as Lord and claim your power in my life. Amen.
