Love God Greatly - Know Love: A Study on 1, 2, 3 JohnNäide

When Jesus came to earth He wasn’t some phantom, but God in the flesh. People could see Him move, hear Him speak, and touch Him with their hands. This shows that He really did understand what it was like to be human. He experienced life with all of its joys and pains. He knew what it was like to be misunderstood, lonely, and uncomfortable. He willingly went through all of it, including death, for all who would believe.
John pointed out that it is through Jesus alone that our salvation comes. This reminder should make us joyful. When all else fails in this life, we can find our hope and joy in the knowledge that Jesus came to save sinners and that His salvation can’t fail.
Lord, I praise You for the great length You went through to save me. I pray that You would be my greatest treasure and that the knowledge of all that You have done for me would be my greatest joy. Amen.
