"Lifted Up for All to See"
When we die to Christ we are then lifted up to new life by the power and resurrection of Jesus! Jesus told His disciples that, “Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.” John 12:25 (ESV) A few verses later we read that Jesus also said, “And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself (verse 32}.” Jesus was lifted up on the cross for the world to see His sacrifice for humanity’s sin. When we are crucified with Christ we live by “the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20) We now proclaim this message for our friends, neighbours, and family in order that salvation is known and eternal life can be received!
Jesus, You died for me and I die to You. You give me life eternal and use me as an instrument of righteousness to lift you up so others will be dawn to you. We pray for our friends, family, and neighbours to come to Your saving grace and receive forgiveness of sins and receive eternal life.
