Love God Greatly - Psalm 119Näide

God so loved His creation that He spent an entire day celebrating His precious work. Even when we are fearful, lonely, insecure, and frustrated, we can rejoice and praise God for the fact that God has unified Himself with His people and desires a deep and powerful connection with us. Even in our fearful circumstances, we are loved deeply and intimately.
When was the last time you spontaneously praised the Lord, outside of church, outside of your devotion or ministry time, outside of Bible study?
Father God, Your mercy and patience with me humbles me beyond measure. Many days, I forget that You are crazy passionate for me. I spend more time wondering “Why?” rather than simply connecting, sharing, and surrendering my day and my life with You. Lord, let connection with you be my priority and allow no one else to take Your central space in my life or in my heart. I thank You for a love that has made me sane, complete, and whole. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
About this Plan

Woven throughout this longest chapter of the Bible are beautiful character qualities of Scripture, reminding us that God’s Word is sufficient, truthful, pure, authoritative, and unchanging. But when we look to God himself – we see how his character is reflected in this chapter as well. This Bible study gives us a glimpse into the beauty, importance, and usefulness of Scripture, prompting us to walk away more in love with God and his Word, more aware of our sin, and more in awe of our great Savior and his sacrifice on our behalf.
