From Beginning To End - Quarter 3Näide

Solomon is given some final instructions from David. Much of it involves closing out unsettled issues with people who have wronged David or others. Solomon does as David asks and also eliminates his rival for the throne.
David gives Solomon a wonderful gift by passing his authority to him. We could learn from David’s example. Who will follow us in leading our families, churches, and communities? How are you preparing them?

About this Plan

This is part three of a four-part plan to read the books of the Bible that tell of the historical events. Although the Bible contains many stories, it is one story from beginning to end of God’s interactions with humanity. One day per week can be used to catch up on missed readings or for reflection. Notes are also included to assist with understanding.
