The Compassionate Heart Of JesusMuestra

Sometimes we want to feel a little higher than others. We relish in our own righteousness. Jesus creates an image of compassion toward the lost. The high-minded Pharisees were disgusted with Jesus hanging with the unrighteous. God's compassion on sinners is what we should have. The image Jesus gives is that of a person who has lost a fuzzy, little sheep. He goes out and finds it, slings the critter over His shoulders and gives it ride back home. What an image of compassion!
