Jesus never liked to see suffering. So why didn't He heal everyone He came in contact with? No one knows. But those who did receive His healing touch became ardent followers of Him. The woman, bent over for years, was restored by Jesus's touch. However, the Pharisees were outraged that the healing took place on the Sabbath. They wanted the law over compassion. Jesus wanted compassion over the law. Thank God that compassion and mercy supersedes religious rules and legalism.
