Jesus Our SaviourMuestra

Going to the beach is so much fun! You can make sand castles, search for sea shells and swim in the ocean. Swimming at the beach is a lot different than swimming in a pool. Swimming in a pool or calm waters is much easier, while swimming in the ocean with the waves rolling in is much harder and can be dangerous, especially if you don’t stay between the flags.
Someone swimming in the ocean may soon discover the waves are too strong. There could be an ocean rip, a current of water which is hard to swim against and takes the swimmer out further than they can swim back. Soon their strength runs out and they could find themselves in big trouble.
A swimmer in trouble needs to be rescued; they cannot save themselves. It’s a bit like sin: we choose to go our own way and soon we find ourselves out to sea with no way to get back to shore. A rescuer throws out a rescue ring for the swimmer to grab onto so their life can be saved. Jesus is our Saviour, He came to rescue us from sin so we can be made right with God. I believe Jesus is my Saviour.
