We all find ourselves in situations where we need help. Just as we would like for someone to help us, we should help those who are in need. As children of God, we’re called to serve others, and we can learn from the example of Jesus. He is so loving and always ready to serve others.

Personally, I’ve always been a shy person. I’ve been a little scared to step into the role God has for my life. But this year, I became a youth group leader, and I’ve discovered that serving others brings me pure joy. It allows me to get closer to God. Although it might mean stepping out of your comfort zone, I encourage you to give your best effort to helping those in need by serving. Every action, big or small, makes a difference, and you can impact other’s lives in wonderful ways.

So, think about one step you can take today to help someone else.
