Crazy

The optics of two people who have found love for each other in ways beyond description can make those who stand on the outside of it question the couple’s sanity. The conversation of the two ravished by each other’s presence as they cultivate a world that makes room for their potential together can sound somewhat “fanatic” to someone who has never known the overwhelming possibility. Because of our society’s fear of being controlled, many never find that dimension of committed love for someone. They fear losing their sanity not knowing that there is a love offered that will bring them into utmost clarity. That couple could care less about what others say. They’ve found treasure and trust in each other. People think that couple is simply “crazy.”

But...maybe they’re onto something. 

Folks say that the crazy should be committed. Love says the committed only appear crazy to those who have yet to discover it. There is a love that is mind-altering. Soul-shaking. Life-rearranging. It is an intoxicating asylum of daily living with someone without a doubt, who knows who you are, why you are and what you need. Above all you ask or think, they provide. There’s nothing you wouldn’t do for that person. Nothing. To the world, it’s crazy. To those in love, it’s natural.
