Romans 8 - Move From Condemned to ConvincedMuestra

Moving Into Assurance!
Today is where the rubber meets the road. This is where we move from truths to trust. This is where we take all our feelings of condemnation and move toward being fully convinced that nothing can separate us from the love of God because of the completed work of Jesus.
As we have seen, if you are adopted, then you have God as your father and Jesus as your brother. You are in the family! If you are in the family, then you have an inheritance, which is God himself. And what belongs to God is never lost!
This leads us to the final part of Paul’s argument for assurance in Romans 8.
Since all this is true, you can have complete assurance that you are safe in Christ.
Nothing can separate you from God’s love because all the requirements for being in his family and receiving his presence have been accomplished for you in Jesus’ death and resurrection.
This is one of the most beautiful roles of the Holy Spirit. He lives within you, making you a temple of God. But he does not just live in you, he speaks to you. He cries out in your heart, “Father!” He speaks adoption, inheritance, and assurance over your doubt, fear, and guilt.
After watching the fourth and final part of the video series, you will read Romans 8. I want you to see the whole chapter as building to the final section. What Paul starts with, “no condemnation,” he finishes with, “no separation.” Read the final section out loud if you can. Rejoice in it. Pray it. Sing it. Shout it. If God is for you, nothing can be against you.

Acerca de este Plan

Christians often feel lacking, insufficient, and second-class. In a word, we feel condemned. This is because, even without noticing it, we are basing our salvation on how well we are performing as Christians. In this short meditation of Romans 8, you will learn how God wants to move you from feeling condemned to feeling convinced that nothing can separate you from the love of God.
