Power Read The Bible In 60 Days With Jeff AndersonMuestra

Day 41
REAL PEOPLE
[Scheduled Reading: Ezekiel 14-28]
Who would you say are among the most righteous men to have lived during the biblical era?
Today’s assigned read gives us a clue into God’s mind on this.
In Ezekiel 14, God is making a point that judgment is coming for Jerusalem and no one can stop it. Even if three particular righteous men were found in Jerusalem, not even they would be enough to spare the city from God’s wrath.
So who are these three special men whose names are mentioned by God?
Noah… Daniel... and Job (v14).
Pretty cool. The trio are referenced three more times in Chapter 14 (vv 16, 18, 20).
For the astute Bible reader, the passage offers another random clue... Job is a real person.
Remember on Day 25 I mentioned there’s some chatter among skeptics and "theologians" about whether Job was real or a fictional person? But this name drop in Ezekiel is strong proof that Job really existed in Biblical times.
Okay, Bible-readers. Carry on.
And as we strive to walk with God, think of these great men - Noah, Daniel, and Job.
