Divine Majesty and Human Dignity

Ps 66.2; 113.4; 148.13 O LORD, our Sovereign,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory above the heavens.

Ps 44.16; Mt 21.16 Out of the mouths of babes and infants
you have founded a bulwark because of your foes,
to silence the enemy and the avenger.

Ps 89.11; 102.25; 136.9 When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers,
the moon and the stars that you have established;

Job 7.17; Ps 144.3; Heb 2.6 what are humans that you are mindful of them,
mortals#8.4 Heb son of man that you care for them?

Ps 21.5; 103.4; Heb 2.9 Yet you have made them a little lower than God#8.5 Or than the divine beings or angels
and crowned them with glory and honor.

8the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea,
whatever passes along the paths of the seas.
