En realidad no fueron los amonitas quienes mataron a Urías; lo mataste tú, ¡y lo hiciste para quedarte con su mujer! ”Pero ahora, por haberte burlado de mí, y por haberle quitado a Urías su mujer, siempre habrá en tu familia muertes violentas. Tus propios hijos te harán sufrir mucho. Si a escondidas tuviste relaciones sexuales con la mujer de otro, yo haré que otros tomen a tus mujeres y se acuesten con ellas delante de todo el mundo”.
