1Praise the Lord!

Sing to the Lord a new song, # Ps 33:3

and His praise in the congregation of the saints. # Ps 89:5

2Let Israel rejoice in his maker; # Job 35:10

let the sons of Zion be joyful in their King. # Zec 9:9

3Let them praise His name in the dance;

let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp. # Ex 15:20; Ps 81:2

4For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; # Ps 35:27

He will beautify the meek with salvation. # Ps 132:16

5Let the saints be joyful in glory;

let them sing for joy on their beds. # Job 35:10; Ps 42:8

6Let the high praises of God be in their mouth,

and a two-edged sword in their hand, # Heb 4:12; Rev 1:16

7to execute vengeance on the nations,

and punishment on the peoples;

8to bind their kings with chains,

and their nobles with fetters of iron;

9to execute on them the judgment written!

This honor have all His saints.
